Workshops, Talks, & Classes
I love teaching and I am deeply passionate about helping people find their own voice through comics, zines, and creative workshops.
These days, I focus on leading workshops about zines, memoir + poetry comics, and community empowerment. My workshops are hands-on, collaborative, and designed to help people tell their own stories.
I offer 1-2 hour workshops for people of all ages. Although my typical audience are no younger than 13+. I’m available to teach both in person and online. Every participant always leaves with something they’ve made, a takeaway zine or comic, and a deeper sense of their own creative voice.
If you’re looking for a guest speaker, teaching artist, or workshop facilitator for your classroom, library, nonprofit, or community group, I’d love to hear from you.
My standard rate for a 2 hour workshop is $250. Please get in touch to talk more about rates.

Upcoming workshops
Mutual-Aid and Zines
Zines have long been tools for care, resistance, and connection. In this workshop, we’ll look at how zines have been used to organize, educate, and support communities—and how you can make your own as an act of mutual aid. We’ll explore examples from past and present, then create zines that share knowledge, offer support, or spark conversation. This is a space for collective thinking, making, and imagining better ways forward—together. No experience needed, just a willingness to share and listen.
Make Your Manifesto: A Perzine Workshop
What do you stand for? What do you want to scream into the world—or whisper to yourself? In this hands-on workshop, we’ll explore the art of the personal manifesto: a bold, messy, honest declaration of your beliefs, desires, and intentions. We’ll start with a short presentation on the history of zine manifestos, then dive into guided prompts to help you uncover what matters most to you. By the end, you’ll turn your words into a one-sheet, foldable zine—a pocket-sized reminder of who you are and what you’re about.

Through writing, drawing, and hands-on activities, we’ll learn practical ways to make a collaborative publication—whether you're working with friends, classrooms, or community groups. You’ll leave with a mini zine made in partnership with others, plus tools for leading your own collaborative projects.
